“The Walmart Foundation has shown an unprecedented commitment to the fight against senior hunger by making a $5 million donation to support senior nutrition education.  The scholarship which was awarded to Linda Jay in recognition of her accomplishments here in Texoma made it possible for her to attend this incredible educational opportunity, ” said Greg Pittman, Executive Director of MOWOT.     “Professional development and continuing education play a key role in the fight against senior hunger.  We have to find better, smarter ways to produce meals which are healthy, tasty, and economical.  Thanks to the Senior Nutrition Institute, we have the knowledge we need to succeed.”
