About Meals on Wheels of Texoma

Meals on Wheels of Texoma is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization serving the greater Texoma region, including Grayson, Fannin, and Cooke counties in North Texas. Since our inception in 1980, we have grown to serve over 30,000 meals a month to seniors most at risk of food insecurity. More than just a meal, our volunteers deliver tender, loving care to our homebound seniors every day, providing the human touch that means so much to them.

Our clients are referred by Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), and are qualified based on their inability to prepare a nutritious meal for themselves. Our clients include homebound, needy, and disabled individuals who are challenged to the point that meal preparation is difficult or impossible. Our volunteers help monitor the health of our clients, and our Senior Center Managers maintain contact with our clients, and report concerns about their welfare to Caseworkers.
